The days are getting hot, and the nights are getting cold. Whenever I open the door next to my desk to the outside, the breeze is very fresh. Our dryer broke, so we have to do our laundry on clotheslines outside.
My brother introduced me to his VR setup and it was way smoother than I had expected! The Oculus has a camera that can project what you would normally see, and I can walk around completely normally even while wearing it. The games look to be on the expensive side, so I’m not sure if I will get too invested in it.
This piece is an attempt at mixing a real reference with the design of 2D characters. It strikes that uncanny valley, especially with the hair that I didn’t really figure out a shadow for. I’ll have to work on this a bit more.
