This last summer, I interned at Sizigi, where we worked at building an AI-powered computer drawer, eventually known as WaifuLabs. As an engineer, my day to day job was working with the models and building the pipeline.
But I learned a lot about drawing as well. Ruwen, one of the founders, is a super amazing artist, and with her advice I worked on improving what I could do. Every day after work, I would spend an hour or so drawing a new piece, and Ruwen would take a look at it and critique. I am very grateful to her, and although I’m still very far away, I will keep driving forward with Ruwen’s style as an inspiration. Thank you Ruwen! I hope to reach a standard of yours one day.
